Lou joined Re:Sound in 2020. As Re:Sound’s President and CEO, he leads the organization’s strategic direction, manages day-to-day operations and ongoing projects, working collaboratively with the executive management team and Re:Sound’s Board of Directors.

Prior to Re:Sound, Lou held executive roles across a range of industries, including professional associations, with Chartered Professional Accountants; the music industry, at ole Media Management (now Anthem Entertainment Group), as well as sports and entertainment with the 100^th Grey Cup Game and Festival, and the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Lou currently serves on the National Capital Commission (NCC) board of directors and has held similar roles with a number of not for profit boards.

Ragagnin holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation.

Since joining Re:Sound in 2010 as Vice President, Legal Affairs and General Counsel, Arif has worked with the Re:Sound Legal Affairs Department to represent the interests of the organization and its stakeholders on all legal and copyright matters. Before joining Re:Sound, Arif served as senior corporate counsel at Deloitte & Touche LLP and in private practice at the law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Arif received his B.A. (Hon) from the University of Western Ontario and his LLB from Queen’s University.

Arif serves on the executive of the Board of Haven Toronto, an organization that provides services to promote well-being, personal growth and community integration to older men addressing issues of homelessness and health. When not enjoying the company of his wife and young daughters, Arif spends as much time on the basketball court as his aching knees will allow.

Michelle joined Re:Sound in 2009 and has been working on developing strong people practices and processes in the company. Her role is to ensure Re:Sound has an engaged and talented work force ready to take on the challenges of the business. In addition to leading Re:Sound’s strategic planning process, Michelle serves on the Board of Directors for Entandem, Re:Sound and SOCAN’s joint licensing venture.

Michelle has 20 years of experience in senior Human Resources roles working in a number of different industries with a focus on service organisations. She has worked for a major Canadian REIT, a large entertainment facility and in the healthcare sector. Her energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the business are well recognized and contagious.

Michelle has a BA from the University of Toronto and completed the Advanced Program in Human Resource Management at the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. In addition, Michelle has the designation CHRL from the Human Resources Professional Association.

Michelle has contributed to her community over the years including the Lake Kashagawigamog Organisation, the Haliburton Highlands Health Services, the Canadian Children’s Opera Company, Leaside High School co-op program, Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games and more.

As Vice President, Technology, Otis is responsible for leading and managing a complex Information Technology portfolio of people, infrastructure, systems, processes, and projects that support the strategic and tactical needs of Re:Sound. His responsibilities include IT strategy, IT Project management, IT security and infrastructure, IT architecture, information quality and oversight of IT operations.

Otis joined Resound in 2007. Otis’s career started with Air Canada as Systems Analyst where he progressed through the ranks of Technical Operations Manager, IT Manager and Project Manager. He brings his depth of experience, technical skills and management capabilities to his current position.

Otis has a Diploma in Computer Science and is a Project Management Professional.

Doris joined Re:Sound in 2007 and is focused on improving and streamlining the royalty distribution processes within the company. She works with Re:Sound’s member organisations to maximize distribution efficiencies and ensures the company has the hard and soft resources in place to meet its distribution targets and strategic objectives.

Doris has over 25 years of progressively more senior experience in management roles working in a number of different industries, and has focused on rights management for the past 20 years. She has worked in the manufacturing and retail sectors, and for a professional association for film and television writers.

Doris has a BComm (Hon) from the University of Manitoba. In addition, she holds the computer networking designation of CNE for Novell Netware and has completed the Strategic Business Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Doris currently volunteers her time with the 2881 Queen’s Own Rifles Royal Canadian Army Cadets and with the Scarborough Women’s Centre, a non-profit women’s resource centre which provides education and support services to assist women in their transition away from abuse, isolation and poverty.

Clement has been responsible for Re:Sound’s finance and accounting functions since 1999.

Clement has over 20 years of experience in senior finance roles. He started his career as an auditor with KPMG in Hong Kong. He then joined BASF China, a multi-national Chemical Company where he led the finance team responsible for the finance and accounting services for 14 companies in Hong Kong and China. Clement’s family emigrated to Canada in 1998 and he joined Re:Sound a few months after.

Clement has a BSc from the University of Leeds and obtained his accounting designations from the Hong Kong Society of Accountants and Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK). In 2002, Clement obtained his CGA designation in Canada.

Clement is a soccer and tennis fanatic. He enjoys tennis at his leisure and has been the treasurer of the tennis community club at the Dunlace Park.

Anne Yourt joined Re:Sound as Director, Communications in 2019. She brings a strategic, creative and collaborative approach to internal and external communications and marketing at Re:Sound. Anne also provides counsel and support to Entandem, Re:Sound’s joint licensing venture with SOCAN.

With experience spanning corporate, agency and not-for-profit environments, Anne has successfully developed and implemented strategic communications programs to build brands, change perceptions and advocate for policy reform.

Anne holds a BA (Hons) in film studies from Queen’s University and a certificate in public relations from Ryerson University. She has also studied at the University of Glasgow and Ballymaloe Cookery School (Ireland).
