Our offices are located in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood, the birthplace of the Canadian music scene.
In the 1960s, Yorkville was the stomping ground of Canadian music legends Gordon Lightfoot, Ian & Sylvia, Joni Mitchell, Murray McLauchlan, Neil Young, Steppenwolf, and more. Our offices are a stone’s throw away from the famous Riverboat Coffee House which hosted countless artists from Big Mama Thornton to Buddy Guy.
Re:Sound acknowledges that we were founded on the traditional territory of many First Nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
Although we are now a hybrid working team, with much of our work taking place virtually, we use land acknowledgements as part of our ongoing efforts to engage in reconciliation. We at Re:Sound encourage our team, clients, and partners to take time to learn more about the lands upon which they reside.
