Proceeds to support MusiCounts

Toronto, ON – September 6, 2023 – Re:Sound is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of its annual benefit concert Re:Wind on October 4, 2023 at The Great Hall in Toronto.

This year’s benefit concert will feature exciting musical performances from local Toronto musicians, The 99s, as well as music industry professionals from Re:Sound, Entandem, and SOCAN.

Last year Re:Sound raised a record-breaking donation of $54,000 for the MusiCounts Band Aid Program. This year, Re:Sound is proud to continue its partnership with MusiCounts.  Proceeds raised this year will once again go towards the MusiCounts Band Aid Program, which awards grants to schools for much-needed instruments, equipment, and gear for music education.

“We are proud to bring back the Re:Wind benefit concert for another remarkable year. This event reflects our commitment to advancing the future of Canada’s music industry,” said Lou Ragagnin, President and CEO at Re:Sound. “We are thrilled to see the music community come together once again to support MusiCounts.”

MusiCounts works tirelessly to ensure that young people across the country have access to musical instruments, equipment, and other resources from an early age.

“We are delighted to continue our partnership with Re:Sound after last year’s exceptional success,” said Kristy Fletcher, President of MusiCounts. “The money raised at last year’s event has gone directly towards funding music programs across Canada and will ultimately foster the next generation of music makers, music professionals and music lovers.”

The event will also feature a silent auction, which will be live from October 2 to 5, 2023.
