Arif Ahmad

Vice President and General Counsel

Since joining Re:Sound in 2010 as Vice President, Legal Affairs and General Counsel, Arif has worked with the Re:Sound Legal Affairs Department to represent the interests of the organization and its stakeholders on all legal and copyright matters. Before joining Re:Sound, Arif served as senior corporate counsel at Deloitte & Touche LLP and in private practice at the law firm of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Arif received his B.A. (Hon) from the University of Western Ontario and his LLB from Queen’s University.

Arif serves on the executive of the Board of the Good Neighbours’ Club, an organization that provides services to promote well-being, personal growth and community integration to older men addressing issues of homelessness and health. When not enjoying the company of his wife and young daughter, Arif spends as much time on the basketball court as his aching knees will allow.
